How to Cook a Naked Ribeye Steak in a Cast-Iron Skillet
This tried-and-true method of cooking a ribeye steak in a cast-iron skillet at home creates a tender and juicy steak that’s restaurant quality.Ingredients
8 oz. Stew’s Naked Beef Boneless Rib-Eye Steak, about 1 inch thick
1/2 tsp. Kosher Salt
1/4 tsp. Pepper
2 tbsp. Vegetable Oil
Let steak come to room temperature, about 20 – 30 minutes.
Pat the steak dry with a paper towel. Season both sides well with salt and the pepper.
Heat skillet over high heat until very hot, about 3 – 4 minutes.
Add the oil and immediately place the steak in the hot skillet.
Let cook until it’s easily moved and has developed a nice crust, about two to three minutes. Flip the steak and let cook until golden brown on the opposite side, about 2 – 3 minutes. Remove steak from the skillet and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
