Our famous plastic shopping bags have been banned in all stores. We were giving out 11 million plastic bags a year. After the ban, we started giving out paper bags and have given out 1 million bags so far this year. Now, New Jersey has just banned paper bags too. What have our Paramus customers started doing? They are bringing their recyclable bags to the store, just like the European shoppers do. We are also putting some boxes by the registers and customers are gobbling them up.
