Petit Filet with Fig JamIngredients
1 to 1-1/2 lbs. Petit Filet
2 tsp. Fig Jam
2 tbs. Stew Leonard’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper, to taste
· Season the meat with salt and pepper
· Place olive oil in a sauté pan over medium high heat and sear the petite filets on both sides, about two minutes per side.
· Spread the fig jam on top of the petite filets.
· Place in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for 8 to ten minutes.
· Let rest 5 minutes before slicing.
