Grilled Chicken Thighs with Mustard Barbecue Sauce
This low and slow cooking method on the grill yields tender and juicy chicken. An easy-to-put together two ingredient sauce creates a nice and crispy skin as well as rich and tasty flavor.Ingredients
1 Tbsp. Kosher Salt
1 tsp. Pepper
1/2 cup Stew’s Deli Mustard
3/4 cup Stew Leonard’s BBQ Sauce
5 lbs. Bone-In Chicken Thighs, skin on
Preheat a gas grill to medium-high heat (300° – 400°F.) on one side.
Add the salt, pepper, mustard, and barbecue sauce to a medium bowl. Whisk to combine.
Pour over the chicken thighs and toss to coat in the sauce.
Place chicken on the lit side of the grill skin side down. Grill, covered, until the skin is well marked and crispy, 5 – 6 minutes. Turn thighs over and move to the unlit side of the grill. Grill, covered, 20 – 25 minutes, turning halfway through grilling. Internal temperature should register 165°F when a thermometer is inserted into the thickest part of the chicken thigh. Let rest a few minutes before serving.
