STEW LEONARD’S HOSTS 36th ANNUAL TURKEY BRIGADE

Farm-Fresh Retailer Distributes More Than 2,000 Turkeys to Families in Need This Holiday

WHAT:
Stew Leonard’s continues its long-standing tradition of giving thanks to the communities it serves with its 36th Annual “Turkey Brigade,” taking place on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 11 a.m.  2,190 turkeys are being distributed to more than 100 churches, civic groups, elderly housing and senior nutrition programs, and schools the Norwalk, Newington & Danbury, Connecticut and Farmingdale & Yonkers, New York communities to help provide Thanksgiving Day meals for families in need.

The Danbury store will donate turkeys to 26 area organizations:

The Darien Senior Center, The Beacon Falls Rotary Club, Friendly Hands, and Easthampton VFW Auxiliary Post 5095were selected by a panel of judges at WRKI-FM as this year’s recipients.
