1. Place the basil and garlic in the bowl of a food processor or blender. Process until the mixture becomes a smooth paste (about 2 minutes). Add the pine nuts and salt. Drizzle in the oil while processing, then add the cheese. Process again until smooth. Taste for seasonings.
