Stew Leonard’s PUMPKIN PATCH OPENS IN FARMINGDALE, N.Y.
First Look at the Stew Leonard’s Experience for Long Island Shoppers
Long Islanders can get their first “taste” of Stew Leonard’s starting this Friday, October 9!
While the farm fresh food grocer is busy building out their 60,000 square foot store, the parking lot in front of the new store in Farmingdale’s Airport Plaza has been transformed into Stew Leonard’s Pumpkin Patch, featuring an assortment of pumpkins, gourds, and more from family-owned Cohen Farms in Ellington, Conn.
Items for sale include Jack-O-Lantern Pumpkins ($5.99/ea. or 3/$15), Sugar Pumpkins ($3.29/ea. or 2/$6), Mini Pumpkins and Gourds ($1.19/ea. or 6/$6), 9-inch Mums ($5.99/ea. or 3/$15), Dried Corn Stalks ($8.99 or 2/$16), Hay Bales ($8.99/ea. or 2/$16), Pumpkin Carving Kits ($4.99/ea.), Scarecrows ($6.99/ea.), and firewood ($16.99/2 cubic feet).
Younger children will enjoy a free, family-friendly hay maze, festively decorated with pumpkins, scarecrows, and corn stalks. Families are welcome to snap photos of their little ones in the pumpkin patch.
Stew Leonard’s Farmingdale Team Members will also be getting to know our new neighbors on Long Island at two upcoming festivals. From October 17 -18, visit Stew Leonard’s Food Truck at the 32nd Annual Oyster Festival in Oyster Bay, N.Y. and purchase just a few of our best-selling products, including our signature Chocolate Chip Cookies, freshly ground coffee, and more. From October 24-25, the team will be at Adventureland’s Pumpkin Park in Farmingdale, handing out free reusable Stew Leonard’s grocery bags and Halloween treats. Mascot Wow the Cow will be in attendance at both events to greet families.
