STEW LEONARD’S GETS WICKED THIS HALLOWEEN
Store Partners with Hit Broadway Musical on WICKED DAY

YONKERS, N.Y., October 25, 2004 — Stew Leonard’s is getting WICKED this Halloween – the Broadway musical that is. To celebrate the show’s one year anniversary, WICKED is holding the 1st annual WICKED DAY Block Party on Saturday, October 30 from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. outside the Gershwin Theatre (222 West 51st Street, between Broadway and 8th Avenue in New York City). The event will feature show performances, merchandise giveaways, face painting, games, the finals of the “BE WICKED” singing contest and free food provided by Stew Leonard’s.

In honor of WICKED DAY, Stew Leonard’s Yonkers store is hosting a “BE WICKED” singing competition. WICKED fans are invited to dress up as their favorite character and perform a song from the show to win a chance to perform in front of WICKED’s director Joe Mantello, casting director Bernie Telsey and stars of the show at the wicked day Block Party.

The Stew Leonard’s Yonkers “BE WICKED*” semi-finals will be held on Thursday, October 28 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Entrants will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis and must come prepared to sing a song from WICKED. Accompaniment will be provided; finalists will be chosen and will then participate in the "BE WICKED" finals on October 30 in New York City. The grand prize winner on October 30 will receive "THE ULTIMATE WICKED PARTY PACKAGE," including 10 tickets to see "WICKED," dinner, limo, hotel accommodations, WICKED merchandise and a backstage tour.

Eligibility and Limitations. Participants and winner(s) must be US residents of at least 18-years old. A parent or guardian of any participant who is a minor must sign a release on behalf of the minor to be eligible to receive a prize, but sponsors reserve the right to refuse to award a prize to or on behalf of any minor. Only one (1) entry per person. One (1) prize per household for the Contest. Only one (1) prize per household from any of Z100’s stations within any thirty (30) day period. Employees of Z100, Stew Leonard, the Contest’s other participating sponsors and their advertising agencies, employees of other radio or television stations, employees of Wicked LLC and members of the immediate family of any such persons are not eligible to participate and win. The term “immediate family” includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents and grandchildren, whether as “in-laws,” or by current or past marriage(s), remarriage(s), adoption, co-habitation or other family extension, and any other persons residing at the same household whether or not related.
