STEW LEONARD'S CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY KICKS OFF HOLIDAY SEASON WITH TOY DRIVE, CAROLING, COCOA AND COOKIES
Norwalk, CT., December 2, 2004 - Stew Leonard's announces the store's annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony, a tradition for more than 30 years, featuring a tree donated by a local resident. This year's tree is a giant 41-foot tall evergreen, planted that many years ago by Norwalk resident Anna Keyes, who donated the spruce tree after it grew too tall for her house and yard. In exchange for her donation, the Keyes family will receive a free landscaping makeover from Stew Leonard's Garden Shop.

STEW LEONARD'S RECEIVES APPROVAL BY ORANGE INLAND-WETLANDS AND WATERCOURSES COMMISSION
Norwalk, CT., November 24, 2004 - Stew Leonard's received approval by the town of Orange's Inland-Wetlands and Watercourses commission today regarding the store's proposed plan to build a store in Orange, Connecticut. The commission agreed that the proposed plan met the town's rigorous environmental and wetlands conservation standards. The next step for Stew Leonard's is to present the application to Orange's Town Planning and Zoning commission. The grocery store anticipates it will file this application some time in the next few weeks.
