STEW LEONARD'S OPENS LITTLE FARMS
IN NORWALK, DANBURY AND YONKERS
WITH OPENING PARADE CELEBRATION AND
"NAME OUR BABIES" CONTEST

WHAT:
Stew Leonard's Little Farm at the Norwalk and Danbury, Conn. and Yonkers, N.Y. locations will open for the season on Saturday, April 17. To welcome the baby animals to their new home, Stew's Little Farm at each location is hosting a parade lead by Clover the Cow, Cynthia Chick and their friends as well as a clown, stilt walker and a magician. Stew's farmers will bring in the baby cows, goats, and sheep in on a hay-filled wagon.

Kids will also enjoy face painting, balloons, snacks, fun give-aways, and a chance to enter the "Name Our Babies" contest.

WHO:
Stew Leonard's Little Farms are celebrating the arrival of two baby cows, two baby goats and two baby sheep for the 2010 season. Kids of all ages are welcome to come to the Little Farm and observe the new arrivals. Kids ranging from four to 12 are eligible to participate in the "Name Our Babies" contest by visiting the Little Farm at each store on April 17 and submitting their recommended animal names into the suggestion box.

The "Name Our Babies" contest winners will receive a gift card to Toys-R-US and get their picture taken with the animal they named and caretaker at the farm.

WHEN:
The parades and celebrations will take place on Saturday, April 17, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. in Norwalk, Noon – 1:30 p.m. in Yonkers, and 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. in Danbury.

The "Name Our Babies" contest winners from each store will be announced the week of April 19.

The celebration will take place on Saturday, May 2nd from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M.
