GIADA DE LAURENTIIS TO SIGN 1,000 COPIES OF HER NEW COOKBOOK AT STEW LEONARD'S IN NORWALK

WHAT:
Giada De Laurentiis, famed Italian chef, author and Food Network star, will greet fans and sign her brand new cookbook, GIADA AT HOME (Clarkson Potter, on sale nationwide on March 30th) at Stew Leonard's, Norwalk on Wednesday, March 31st. This is Giadas fifth cookbook, sharing the same name as her incredibly popular Food Network show, Giada at Home, now in its third season.
Stew Leonard's is offering the cookbook at a special book signing price of $27.99 or two for $50.00.
Due to overwhelming demand, there will be 1,000 copies of GIADA AT HOME available for purchase on a first come, first served basis. There is a limit of two books per customer. Fans are welcome to wait in line starting at 7 a.m. on March 31.
Twenty lucky fans will win a reserved place at the front of the line to have their book signed. Fans can submit their entries via http://www.stewleonards.com or the ballot box at any of the Stew Leonard's stores in Norwalk, Danbury, Yonkers, and Newington. Entries will be accepted Monday, March 15 through the morning of Monday, March 29.
In GIADA AT HOME, Giada De Laurentiis offers a personal look into how she cooks for those dearest to herincluding her favorite Italian dishes, from those inspired by her generations-old family recipes to more modern onesall of which capture her signature fresh, healthy, simple style.
Readers will get a sneak peek into Giada's fresh spins on Old World favorites, such as Bucatini AllAmatriciana with Spicy Smoked Mozzarella Meatballs, as well as newer recipes that combine the freshness of California cuisine with Italian flavors from her youth, like Arugula Salad with Grilled Fruit and Panettone Croutons. WHO: GIADA DE LAURENTIIS is the Emmy-award winning host of the Food Network's Everyday Italian and Giada at Home; a contributing correspondent for NBC's Today; and the author of four New York Times bestselling cookbooks. She attended Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and worked at Wolfgang Puck's Spago restaurant in Los Angeles before starting her own catering company, GDL Foods. Born in Rome, she grew up in Los Angeles, where she now lives with her husband, Todd, and their daughter, Jade.
