Stew Leonard's Winning Recipes Cookbook
by Stew Leonard, Jr.
Stew Leonard's is legendary in the food industry. The store is a favorite among celebrities and television personalities
that live in the New York City metro area, and it has also become the media darling of foodies worldwide. In addition to
their renowned customer service, Stew Leonard's has catapulted to cult status by focusing on selling only the freshest
products, most made right in front of the customer, and selling them in a fun atmosphere - a combination that has earned
Stew Leonard's the nickname, "The Disneyland of Dairy Stores."
Inspired by his customers who frequently requested the stores' recipes, Stew Leonard, Jr. gathered his top chefs and asked
them to help put together a collection of winning recipes that could be featured in a cookbook. The result: more than 300
popular recipes from the stores' top-selling foods which are quick and easy to make, along with hundreds of tips and tricks
to streamline shopping, storing' and cooking.
To shine the spotlight on customers' favorite foods from Stew's - including filet mignon, lobster, and strawberries - the
chefs pooled their most prized recipes for the "10 Winning Ways to WOW" feature at the beginning of each chapter. And the
cookbook wouldn't be complete without some winning recipes from Stew's customers. Look for the Stew Leonard's Customer Recipe
Cook-Off icon to try these award-winning dishes.
A few years ago, Stew Leonard's branched out into the wine business. It made perfect sense; wine is, after all, most often
served with food. So for each main course recipe, Stew Leonard's wine experts recommend a winning wine pairing that will
perfectly complement the dish, taking out the guesswork for you.
