Dear Customer:
Thank you for your interest in Stew Leonard's. Each week approximately 300,000 customers visit us from near and far. Hundreds of donations are requested each month and giving generously has always been the Stew's way. We love to help our community and its worthy organizations!

To request a donation for your organization, please use the following guidelines:

• Submit your request in writing by the last weekday of the month prior of your function.
  Example: for a January 2000 function your letter must be received by Friday, December 31st. Community Fund requests are not handled over the phone or in person.

• Our Community Fund meets the last weekday of each month, all requests are reviewed and all donations are given out for the following month.
  Note-letters for future months' events will not be reviewed until the Community fund meeting that corresponds. All requests will remain on file until this time.

• Stew Leonard's supports many community groups and schools, we try to give "a little bit to A LOT". Our donations are in the form of Stew Leonard's products or gift certificates, therefore, we do not advertise in programs nor do we sponsor groups or individuals.

• If your donation has been approved, you will be notified by mail. If you include a fax number with area code, we will notify you accordingly. Always remember to include your name and home address. We have better success sending letters to a committee person using their home address.
  The approval letter will give details of how to arrange pick up of your donation. All gift certificates are mailed.

• If your function falls within the first 4 days of the month, we will fax you a copy of the letter right after the meeting. If you do not have a fax, please call customer service at 847-7214 ext. 300, verify that your donation is approved, and then arrange pick-up during this time.
