STEW LEONARD'S GRILL AT CALF PASTURE BEACH OPENS ON MAY 15 FOR 2010 SEASON

NORWALK, Conn., May 11, 2010 – Stew's Grill at Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk will open for the 2010 summer season on Saturday, May 15.

The Grill offers a selection of summer favorites such as hamburgers, ground fresh every day, jumbo hot dogs, clam strips, shrimp baskets, lobster rolls, French fries, ice cream and milkshakes. Kids combo meals include a hot dog or chicken nuggets with fries, a cookie and juice box for just $3.99 and Lobster dinners with fries, corn on the cob and a soft drink for $14.99

"This is the eighth consecutive summer Stew's Grill has operated here at Calf Pasture, and we love that families, beachgoers, and sailors from the Norwalk community and beyond can take advantage of Stew Leonard’s farm fresh food in a spectacular beachside setting."

The Grill is open Sunday through Thursday from days a week from 11:30 a.m. until 8:00 P.M. and Fridays and Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Stew Leonard's also offers themed birthday parties at Calf Pasture Beach every day from Memorial Day through Labor Day. For $250, Stew Leonard's will plan every detail from invitations and favors to a water balloon toss and a visit from Wow the Cow. Each party of 10 includes: a menu of pizza or nuggets and fries, juice, birthday cake and ice cream; decorations; invitations; games; crafts; and party favors. Stew's offers a general theme, luau, pirate and princess parties, with decorations, crafts and favors to match. Parties can be planned every day of the week for the following time slots: 11:00 A.M. – 12:30 P.M; 1:30 – 3:00 P.M. and; 4:00 – 5:30 P.M. Directions
Calf Pasture Beach is located in East Norwalk. To get to the beach from I-95N, take Exit 16 and turn right at end of ramp onto East Avenue. From I-95S, take Exit 16 and turn left at end of ramp onto East Avenue. Proceed on East Avenue and enter traffic circle. Take first road out of circle and follow the blue beach area signs. Customers who do not have a Norwalk beach pass can have their beach entrance fee refunded by obtaining a voucher with the purchase of any meal at Stew's Grill.
