HALLOWEEN HAPPENINGS AT STEW LEONARD'S DANBURY STORE
WHAT:
Stew Leonard's Danbury store announces Halloween happenings it is hosting throughout the month of October, including:
Halloween Hay Bale Theater
Every Friday night in October, the Hoedown is transformed into a Hay Bale Theater to show a free children's Halloween-themed movie. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited to 125 people.
The movies begin at 7:30 P.M., with seating opening at 7:00 P.M.:
- October 2nd: Casper Trick or Treat
- October 9th: Arthur's Scary Stories
- October 16th: Sesame Street's A Magical Halloween Adventure
- October 23rd: Dora's Halloween
- October 30th: It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown
Halloween Hayride Spooktacular
This is a family-friendly hayride that weaves through the pumpkin patch. At the end of the ride children receive a candy "treat." The hayrides begin Friday, October 2nd and run through Saturday, October 31st. Hours of operation are:
- Monday through Friday: 3:00 P.M. until Dusk.
- Saturday through Sunday: 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M Dusk
Trick-or-Treat with the Stew Leonard’s Characters
On Wednesday, October 28th from 4:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M., children are invited to dress up in their costumes and come to Stew Leonard's to go trick or treating throughout the store. Each department in the store will have a candy station for kids to stop at. Children can come with their own bags or Stew Leonard's will provide one for them. Stew Leonard's famous characters, including mascot Wow the Cow, will be available for taking photos with the children.
Halloween Day Trick or Treat
On Halloween day, Saturday, October 31st, children who come to the store in their costumes will receive a free ice cream.
