WHAT:
Bobby Flay, acclaimed chef, restaurateur, cookbook author and Food Network personality, has firmly established himself as America's grillmaster. Now you can meet him at Stew Leonard's Norwalk store as he signs copies of his newest cookbook: Bobby Flay's Burgers, Fries & Shakes (Clarkson Potter/Publishers; April 14, 2009; $25.95; hardcover), a perfect resource to help kick off your barbecue season. Stew's will offer the book at a special price of $17.99--a great present for Mother's Day.

Bobby Flay's Burger's Fries & Shakes will remind you why the burger is a beloved American original. Each chapter includes an introduction devoted to the Essentials, so you can make sure you have everything you need before digging into each recipe. WHO:
Bobby Flay opened his first restaurant, Mesa Grill, in 1991 and quickly developed a following for his innovative southwestern cuisine. Bobby opened Bolo in 1993, Bar Americain in 2005, Bobby Flay Steak in 2006, and Bobby Flay's Burger Palace in 2008. He has hosted numerous popular cooking shows since his debut on Food Network in 1994, from the Emmy-nominated Boy Meets Grill to the Iron Chef America series and Throwdown with Bobby Flay. This is his ninth book.
