Stew Leonard's Danbury store invites the community to celebrate the 2008 holiday season by attending its Christmas tree lighting and caroling celebrations:

Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration: Tuesday, December 2nd at 4:30 P.M.
Stew Leonard's Danbury store is kicking off the 2008 holiday season with its annual Christmas tree lighting celebration. The festivities begin at 4:30pm with Santa leading the crowd through holiday carols while his elves are on hand for face painting. Hot cocoa and cookies will be served to keep everyone warm as Stew Leonard’s has arranged for it to "snow" that evening.

This year's tree, a 30-foot Blue Spruce donated by the Falls family of Redding, CT, will be lit at 5:00 P.M. This tree was the Falls' family Christmas tree 25 years ago. After Christmas, they re-planted the tree and now are donating it to Stew Leonard's Danbury store. Mrs. Dawn Falls will be attending the tree lighting ceremony.

Holiday Caroling: Fridays, December 5th and 12th from 5:00 to 5:30 P.M.
Stew Leonard's Danbury store is hosting two nights of holiday carol singing in its Christmas Shoppe. Santa will lead each ½ hour tour of caroling along with Mrs. Claus, his elves and Stew Leonard's Wow the Cow and Daisy the Duck. Children get to sing their favorite holiday songs while gazing at the Christmas Shoppe decorations and enjoying complimentary hot cocoa and cookies.
