Celebration features Santa Claus, Snow, Caroling, Cocoa and Cookies

COMMUNITY AND MEDIA WELCOME
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 30, 4:30 P.M. – 5:30 P.M.

WHAT:
Stew Leonard's Danbury store brings the season to life with their annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony, featuring a tree donated by a local family. The Simpson family of Bethel donated this year's tree, a 35-foot Fraser Fir, which will be adorned with more than 12,000 lights.

To get the crowd in the spirit, Santa and his elves will lead the crowd in singing holiday carols. No matter what the weather forecast is, Stew Leonard's has arranged for it to "snow" to add to the holiday atmosphere. Complimentary hot chocolate and coffee, as well as Christmas cookies and donuts will be served. Rachel and Trinket, the Christmas elves, will be on hand to keep children entertained with face painting and balloon animals.

WHO:
