Stew Leonard’s is hosting a book signing event with celebrity chef and cookbook author, Lidia Matticchio Bastianich at their new store in Newington, Connecticut. Lidia will be autographing copies of her latest cookbook, Lidia’s Italy: 140 Simple and Delicious Recipes from the Ten Places in Italy Lidia Loves Most (Knopf) at a special price of $24.99. The cookbook is the companion book to her the new season of her 26-episode cooking series that airs nationally on Public Television. This season, when Lidia says “Tutti a tavola a mangiare!,” she invites you to experience her favorite dishes and places to visit in Friuli, Maremma, Naples, Puglia, Sicily, Trieste and more.

At the event, Lidia’s best-selling marinara, Lidia’s Flavors of Italy Gourmet Pasta Sauce will be sampled and available for purchase.

Lidia Bastianich is widely regarded as the "First Lady of Italian cuisine in the United States."
