Just in time for Father’s Day!

Stew Leonard to sign copies of “My story” at Stew’s in Norwalk

Saturday, June 14, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

In honor of Father’s Day, Stew Leonard will sign copies of his autobiography, Stew Leonard: My Story, on Saturday, June 14 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Customers who buy one book at $19.99 will receive a second copy for free during the book signing event.

The book makes a wonderful gift for Father’s Day, detailing how Stew and his family have grown a 17,000 square foot dairy store carrying just eight items into the “World’s Largest Dairy Store.” In the book, Stew also describes how each of his four children found an outlet for their own passions within the family business, and how the family came up with a plan to guarantee that future Leonard generations will continue the Stew Leonard’s tradition.

Stew Leonard is the founder of the unique retail business that bears his name. Owner of a milk delivery business back in the sixties, it was Stew’s dream to build a retail dairy store where children could watch milk being bottled while mothers did their shopping in a farmer’s market atmosphere. In December 1969, Stew Leonard opened the doors to his dairy which carried eight items and employed seven people. At 84, Stew Leonard is still very active in the business.
