Stew Leonard’s will welcome local cookbook author Dina Cheney to sign copies of her new cookbook, Meatless All Day: Recipes for Inspired Vegetarian Meals, on Saturday, March 8, 2014 from Noon – 2 p.m.
With an estimated 9 million Americans embracing a 100% vegetarian diet, as well as a whopping 100 million who eat at least one vegetarian meal per week, Meatless All Day is most definitely a cookbook for the masses! It starts with 45 “power ingredients” and key cooking techniques that make vegetarian food satisfying and delicious. Following are 85 ultra-flavorful recipes with headnotes that demarcate vegan recipes and offer meal suggestions.
Stew Leonard’s will sell Meatless All Day at the special price of $17.99/each. Dina’s Mushroom Vegetable Loaf (page 162) will be demo’d during the book signing and will additionally be available for purchase on the store’s buffet bar that day.
Dina Cheney is the author of Year-Round Slow Cooker, Tasting Club, and Williams-Sonoma: New Flavors for Salads. She has been the “Taste Test” columnist for Everyday with Rachael Ray for several years, is a regular contributor to Fine Cooking, and has written articles or developed recipes for more than 20 other publications.
