Stew Leonard’s Tree Lighting Featuring Santa Claus
Friday, December 3, 2021
6:00 p.m.
Join Wow the Cow, Cynthia the Chick, and Daphne the Duck while Santa Claus and his helpers greet children and distribute candy canes to families. The tree will be lit at 6:00 p.m.
Santa’s Village at Stew Leonard’s

Customers are invited to stroll through Santa’s Village at Stew Leonard’s in Newington! Located inside the former PetValu space, Stew Leonard’s elves have created a magical village featuring beautifully decorated trees, ornaments, and decorations. Sweet treats from Stew’s very own in-store Chocolate Shop and hot cocoa will be available for purchase. Children will also be able to meet Santa Claus himself in Santa’s Village during designated hours (see below).

Special Holiday Hours on November 26, 2021: Noon – 7 p.m.
This holiday season, families are invited to take a complimentary, socially distanced photo with Santa Claus himself at Stew Leonard’s in Newington. Santa will be seated in a snow-capped castle made from Lego-style bricks, flanked by lit Christmas trees. Children will have the chance to push a special button to make the castle come alive with light and sound before taking a seat on a bench in front of Santa for a photo.
Stew Leonard’s Holiday Mini-Drive Through 2021

Celebrate the season with a Holiday Mini-Drive Through at Stew Leonard’s! Designed for the littlest of Santa’s believers, families stay in their cars as they make their way through a dedicated section of Stew’s parking lot. The Drive Through features holiday-themed inflatables and decorations, including family-friendly snowmen, cartoon characters, and, of course, Santa Claus. The Drive Through will be closed in case of inclement weather. Please call ahead!
