Stew’s Fresh Delivery Powered by Instacart is a grocery delivery service that delivers in as little as an hour! The service connects customers with Instacart’s Personal Shoppers who shop and deliver farm fresh food from Stew Leonard’s right to your front door.
How fast does Stew’s Fresh Delivery deliver?
Customers select items via www.shop.stewleonards.com or Instacart’s mobile app. They can elect to have their groceries delivered within 1 hour, within 2 hours, or a schedule a delivery within a 1 or 2 hour window depending on location, up to seven days in advance.
How much does Stew’s Fresh Delivery cost?
Customers who sign up for Stew’s Fresh Delivery by February 1, 2018 using code stewsexpress will have free delivery on orders over $35 for up to a year.After the free trial, Instacart delivery is just $5.99 on orders of $35 or more. Customers can also become Instacart Express members to continue getting free delivery once the trial has ended. Instacart Express members pay $14.99 a month or $149 a year for unlimited, free same-day delivery.
How can Stew’s deliver for free?
Stew Leonard’s offers great low prices on everyday items; however, we do add a price increase to cover the cost for the Instacart service to shop your order in the store. In addition, Instacart charges a delivery fee (optional, preset at 10%) to cover the cost of having your favorite Stew’s products delivered to your door.
What services will be offered through Stew’s Fresh Delivery Powered by Instacart?
Customers will be able to order an assortment of their favorite farm fresh foods for delivery to their home or office. (Alcohol, catering orders, lottery tickets, gift cards, hot/cold buffet, Christmas Shoppe and Stew’s Garden Center items are not included.)
Where does Stew’s Fresh Delivery Powered by Instacart deliver?
Instacart delivers to 365,000 households within a 20-30 minute radius from each Stew Leonard’s location. Customers can check out their eligibility at instacart.com/locations.
What are the delivery hours?
Instacart operates from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily, but will be restricted to store hours. On holidays, Instacart’s delivery hours are subject to special store holiday hours. Customers can view available delivery times for their area at checkout and from the shopping cart on the Instacart.com site. Please note that final delivery is one hour prior to each store’s closing.
Who does the shopping and delivery?
Instacart has a community of Shoppers. The Shoppers pick, check out, and pack specific items on a customer's grocery list and then deliver the order directly to the customer.
How does Instacart deal with out-of-stocks?
Instacart has a concept called “replacement items.” Personal Shoppers select an item that is comparable to the original based on brand, flavor, size, healthy option and price. Shoppers make every effort to confirm these “replacement items” with the customer, via the chat feature of the Instacart app or by phone, before checking out.
The Customer is (still) Always Right – Even with Stew’s Fresh Delivery!
After each order is delivered, customers are prompted to leave feedback using a star rating (1 through 5) and a free form comment field. Instacart’s Customer Happiness team reviews all feedback and reaches out to customers for follow up, as necessary. Additionally, customers can also reach out to [email protected] to report order issues. Instacart will do what they can to make it right for the customer, oftentimes offering a credit, refund, or re-delivery, depending on the circumstances. What does the Stew’s Fresh Delivery personal shopper process look like?
Ordering The Stew’s Fresh Delivery Powered by Instacart order starts with a customer placing a delivery order through Instacart. These can be placed via www.stewleonards.com (follow the link to Stew’s Fresh Delivery), www.shop.stewleonards.com or the Instacart app.
Shopping Upon arrival at Stew Leonard’s, the shopper begins shopping for the customer’s order. The app shows a list of the items, which are marked as found and scanned for items with a UPC.
Replacement and Confirmation Shoppers will make every effort to find all of the items in the customer’s order. When this is not possible, the shopper will select a replacement item or refund the item to the customer. Prior to checkout, the shopper will contact the customer to confirm that the replacement item or items are acceptable. Customers are also able to communicate with their Instacart shopper throughout the shopping process, via the chat feature on the Instacart app. When all of the items in the order have been found or replaced by the shopper, they will proceed to checkout.
Instacart shoppers will pay for the order with an Instacart branded card. To ensure customers receive their items at the correct temperature, Instacart shoppers are trained to bag the items in their order, specifically so that items are separated by temperature (shelf, refrigerator, and freezer).
