  1. How long are applications kept on file?

    • Applications are kept on file for one year. If we do not have a suitable opening
      when you apply, we will hold on to it for a suitable future opportunity.


  2. How do I follow-up with my application?

    • You will receive either an e-mail or postcard to let you know that we have received
      your application. We will contact you within two weeks if there is a suitable opening
      to schedule an interview.


  3. What do you look for in a Stew Leonard's Team Member?

    • We look for team members who have a great attitude and will go above and beyond to
      give customers great service. Depending on the position, we may look for applicants who
      have experience in a particular area. In addition, to accommodate our business needs, we
      look for team members with a flexible schedule.


  4. What steps are involved in the hiring process?

    • If we have a suitable opening for you, we will invite you in for a first interview. You will also
      meet with a department manager or supervisor to discuss the job opportunity in more detail.
      Stew Leonard’s verifies Social Security Numbers, completes background checks, and asks
      for two forms of identification for new hires. All employment opportunities are contingent
      upon the successful completion of SSN verification, clearance of I-9 information, background
      check, and drug test results.
